In Room 6 for writing we had to write a pick a path story about a story of our choice. I think that my pick a path story is not that good because I need to make it more clear and easier to do. But this time was my first time making a pick a path story. WALT : Use appropriate language features for a pick a path story.

Ngatu - Tapa Cloth
In Room 6 we had to create a D.L.O about a Tapa Cloth about what is and how it represents it's Culture. I am still working on mine because I was not at school when the class was working on this. Along with this activity we had to create a Tapa Cloth of our own, I enjoyed making my own Tapa Cloth because I loved drawing the patterns.

Cell Phones Are Staying
In Room 6 we had to do a Persuasive Writing piece about if cell phones should be banned at school or not. WALT : Use our prior knowledge, along with information to the text to interpret abstract ideas, complex plots and sophisticated themes.
What I enjoyed : I enjoyed learning about the facts of cell phones.
What I need to work on : Adding more complex sentences.
What I have learnt : I learnt that cell phones motivates people to learn.
Cell Phones Should Not Be Banned In Schools
Dear Jacinda Ardern,
Do you think cell phones should be banned at school? In my opinion I think that cell phones should not be banned at school, to prove my point I will explain my ideas to you on why they should not be banned. Because in this day and age students in schools definitely need their cellphones at schools, cause every week something terrible has happened at a school on the news.
The reason why I think that cell phones should not be banned is because if there is an emergency, you will have to call your parents or your family members. Some people might say that your school could just call all your parents and inform your family, but what if your school is very large how are they going to call them all in time. Although if you have your cell phone you could inform your loved ones quick so that they could come pick you up, as soon as possible.
I strongly state that if you have cell phones at school, there might be cyber bullying. To prevent that you could lock down all social media such as Instagram, snap-chat, Facebook, and discord. So I think that schools should let you use your phones for only calling, taking notes for your work and for using apps that have nothing to do with social media. If you are somehow caught using social media there will be bad punishments like having to sweep the whole school. During class time each class teacher can have a draw where they put all the students cell phone, because after school they can take them back home with them. If you think that someone might steal your cell phone they will not because there will be a lock on the, which the teacher will only know where the key is.
Also if you can’t remember your schedule you can write it on your cell phone, all you have do is write it on your notes or set off a reminder for each class. If you don’t have a computer for research for school purposes you can ask the teacher to use your phone to research and to do your work online. In fact using technology motivates students to learn.
To conclude it all up, I strongly believe that cell phones should be allowed in schools . Because in society today nearly everyday there is an emergency at schools. In New Zealand, we have a risk of an earthquake and what will happen when you can’t can’t inform your parents in time.

Posted Activities
In Room 6 every week we get an activity to do for our class serial story, we access our activities by going onto our class site. I love the story that we are reading because it is interesting and unexpected, and I like to do activities around Posted the name of our serial story. My favorite thing about doing the activities are getting to do my own drawings sometime. I need to work on adding more detail. My work will be updated every week and revised and edited.
