WALT: Write a poem about winter using strong verbs.

Winter is the Best

Winter is the time of the year, when the weather turns frosty.

I put the covers over the top of my head. Me and my family buy warm woolly jackets. Heaters are on all the time. Underneath my shoes I look and see frozen grass on the way to school. Walking in the frosty mornings with my brother. Sitting underneath the heat pump with my family creating memories. Winter is cold but it doesn't matter, because the hot chocolate is worth the matter.

This week we are learning how to keep ourselves safe online and what to share and what not. Here in this thinglink are some tips and tricks to keep you safe.

How to make a new Friend ?

 WALT : How to write an explanation.

Room 8 have learnt the structure of an explanation and have been practising writing explanations in class. we wrote about how to make a new friend and then turned it into a presentation to put  onto our individual blogs. I turned mine into a slideshow.
